34, 33 and 32 Weeks plus Dr. UPDATE!!!!

34 Weeks

33 Weeks

32 weeks

Alright so I'm gonna be real honest the past couple of weeks have just been absolutely crazy. From starting back to coaching volleyball, followed by a stint in labor in delivery and 3 days of bed rest, inservice, going back to work and Jayden starting kindergarten 😥!!! It has just been a mad house.

I am not gonna go through all the info cause lets just face it; we know I'm as big as a house (haha) and all my clothes don't fit. I live in maxi's and tank tops or basketball shorts when I am at home. Sleeping ha I lost track of that a long time ago. As for daddy/brother moments; the boys are elated and cannot wait for him to get here. Jayden has officially started a countdown and we have 29 days until our induction date. Even typing that it seems ridiculously close. Eric well he's just ready for him to be here, as am I.

I had a wonderful shower 2 weeks ago out on by 2 of my best friends and it was AMAZING. Eric's family made it down which made it even better. It was a great way to spend the Sunday before I had to go back to work.

Jayden started kindergarten this past Monday and this momma was a mess. I was filled with so many mixed emotions. I am so happy that my little boy is growing up and entering school and getting to do all the fun stuff. On the other hand it feels like just yesterday I was in labor for 22 hours waiting on his arrival (let's hope his brother isn't as stubborn). I cannot believe how fast time flies nor can I believe that my little baby boy will be 6 in only a couple weeks and that he will have a little brother here too. It really is crazy to think of all of the changes that are going on in our life. There are so many things to be excited for and so much to be happy and thankful for. This truly is a new chapter in our life and I am loving every minute of it. A year ago I never thought we would be where we are today, so I am so excited to see what God has in store for our family in the next year.

Drs update 8/28/13
Baby boy is weighing in at 5.11lbs which is fabulous news seeing as they thought he was only going to be 5lbs at births. My amniotic fluid is still high at 25cm and is causing some great discomfort/pain in top part of my stomach. Had some crying last night and this morning but luckily cervix is still closed as of this morning. Now it's just a waiting game. Will update with nests weeks dr appointment.

Some pics of past couple weeks; baby shower, jaydens 1st day at kindergarten.

31 Weeks - DR UPDATE

31 weeks 8/1-8/7

How far along? 30 Weeks 0 days

Total weight gain/loss:  26 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Its the summer so I have lived in yoga pants, shorts, tank tops and maxi dresses.
Stretch Marks: Same ole same ole, lathering on the cocoa butter
Sleep: Pretty much same as last week, some nights are better than others.
Best Moment of the week: Spending some quality alone time with Eric as Jayden is visiting my parents. It's been nice to just do things just him and I before all the chaos of school, volleyball, Jayden's soccer and baseball and of course the BABY comes. But we are definitely missing Jayden.
Movement: party, party, party
Food Cravings: Doing really well with our clean eating, although a bowl of cereal has made it into my routine but of course using gluten free cereal. Eric's loving our new healthy eating (hahaha at times).
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Have you started to show yet: Oh boy have I
Gender prediction: Boy
Labor Signs: See below
Belly button in or out: In but I don't think it has much longer before it comes out.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: There are so many things in the next couple weeks I am just elated; our nursery furniture is set to arrive today, tomorrow and Saturday (as I was typing this, there was knock at the door and the crib just arrived!! Sooooooo excited) I am excited to get those set up. My little boy comes home on Aug 10th, we are having our maternity pictures done on the morning of the 11th and I can't for those our friend Kasey does an AMAZING job. Then that afternoon we have our baby shower with all our friends and family and I cannot wait.
Daddy/Big Brother Moment: Daddy has been great this week, he has really been catering to me, especially since Jayden isn't here. Plus since the crib just arrived he is getting ready to start setting it up (with my help of course)!!!! He is constantly coming over and talking to the baby and telling him different things, its so cute.

Dr Update 8/1/13 - So this appointment didn't have a sonogram scheduled so I wasn't expecting much, boy was I wrong. I went in with a list of questions that I had written down after the appointment last week and was ready to fire away. I wanted to know if me having high amniotic fluid put me at more risk for having a C-sections ( I really, really want to give birth vaginally), would he take him early and what was the earliest he would take him and basically anything things I needed to be looking out for. Dr. Ricks (whom I love by the way) said that with my fluid being high he was going to induce me and informed us that the longer the bambino is in their with the high fluid the more chances for him to develop respiratory problems or fluid in his lungs. So he SCHEDULED our induction date for Sept 27th, which puts me at 39 weeks and 1 day. However as we inch closer he said he may move that back to the Wednesday (25th) or Monday (23rd) depending on where we are at. The earliest he will take him is 38 weeks which is the week before. So this momma is definitely in some shock that a. its getting extremely close, b. we have an official date and it may even be sooner than that, and c. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH anxiety. But all in all he says he thinks things are going well and the baby is doing good we just have to keep an eye on these extracurricular items.
